2026 PVAMU Homecoming Giving Challenge

Homecoming…a Time to Reflect, Honor, and Inspire

At Prairie View A&M, Homecoming isn't just an event — it's an experience. It's the sound of the Marching Storm kicking off the parade, the friendly-but-serious BBQ battles between RVs, and the sunrise over "The Hill" — chilly in the morning, hot by midday, and cool again by the time the hugs and goodbyes come. It's the pride of standing shoulder to shoulder in purple and gold, reliving the moments when Prairie View was shaping not just your college years, but your future.

This year, that homecoming carries extra weight. We're celebrating it during Prairie View A&M's Sesquicentennial — a century and a half of resilience, excellence, and Panthers who came before us and made sure this University would still be standing, and still be rising, for the ones who came after.

Think about those moments as a student when you needed a little extra help — a scholarship, a book voucher, or even support to stay enrolled. For many of us, someone else's generosity made the difference. Today, as alumni, we have the chance to be that "someone" for the next generation of Panthers.

Homecoming is more than a reunion; it's a reminder of how far we've come across 150 years, and why it matters to give back now. By paying it forward, you ensure that students walking the Hill today have the same opportunities and unforgettable experiences that shaped your PV story — and help write Prairie View's next chapter.

Which College or School Will Take Home the Trophy?

The PVAMU Homecoming Giving Challenge is an annual alumni competition that rallies Panthers to give back to the colleges and schools that built their journey. This Sesquicentennial year, every gift carries a little more history behind it. Each year, alumni come together to show their pride, give back, and compete for two ultimate prizes:

🏆Trophy #1 for the college or school that raises the most money

🏆Trophy #2 for the college or school with the most individual donors

This is more than a fundraiser — it's about Panther pride, alumni participation, and proving your college or school can rise to the challenge, in the very year Prairie View A&M marks its Sesquicentennial.

The Goals

Funds Raised – Each college and school aims for $10,000 Alumni Participation – The more alumni who give, the stronger your college stands in the competition.

Every gift matters! Whether you give $10, $50, $100, or more, you move your college or school closer to victory and ensure future Panthers can live the same legacy you cherish — a legacy marked by this Sesquicentennial.

The clock is ticking. The Challenge ends at kickoff of the Homecoming Game!

Join the Competition and fuel the Panther Pride!

Don't let your college or school fall behind. Every alumni gift brings us closer to victory and every dollar makes a direct impact on student success — and on Prairie View A&M's next 150 years.
